Russia confirm warm-up schedule

Moscow/Russia - The Russian basketball federation (BFR) have released the women's national team schedule for their build-up to the FIBA World Championship for Women. Four training camps including 10 friendly matches have been organized ahead of the September competition in Brazil and will be held in Novogorsk, Moscow Region (June 15-28), Italy (July 13-28), Spain (August 2-14) and Novogorsk (August 16-29).
The team will then participate in several international friendly tournaments, beginning in China (June 30-July 2, July 5-7), where they will play China, Australia and the Czech Republic. They will then play in Spain (August 11-13) against Spain, Poland and Lithuania, and in the Czech Republic (August 30-September 2) against the hosts and Australia. Russia have also scheduled two friendlies against Italy on July 26 and 27 in Bologna, and two more against France on August 18 and 19 in Novogorsk, before arriving in Brazil on September 6.
